Any proposed changes within the jurisdiction must meet the approval of the Fire District.
Lot line shifts, subdivisions, new construction, buildings remodels and alterations, and building being moved in to the area from elsewhere all need the written approval of the Fire Chief.
Other common activities that require a permit include: open burning, pyrotechnic (fireworks) displays, blasting and explosives use, day care center operations, flammable and combustible liquid use storage and dispensing just to name a few.
